Brian Harris, the son of Big Band Orchestra leader Hal Harris and mother Pat Harris, has an extensive musical background. A drummer since early childhood, he's toured parts of the U.S. and most of Europe, and his talents can be heard on more than 15 different albums, local and national.

In 1997, Brian started All Music By Design when asked by a friend to provide music for a wedding reception. Using minimal equipment, Brian quickly discovered his ability to play the right music, and coordinate the reception to flow smoothly. He immediately did extensive research, upgraded to professional DJ equipment, and began attending DJ conventions to expand his knowledge and ideas (most recently Mobile Beat Las Vegas DJ convention Feb 2008), and began networking with other DJs, locally and in online forums.

Eleven years later, Brian has become one of Dayton's most requested and referred wedding entertainers. More than 80% of his new clients have been referrals by previous clients, venues he's worked at and other professionals in the industry (photographers, caterers, videographers, etc) that he's worked with, and has proven his unique and  classy demeanor, and professional approach with  each wedding he does.

Brian resides in the Huber Heights / Dayton area with his wife Lori, 13 yr old son Tyler, and 9 yr old daughter Lauryan.
